Position Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Electric Bike (E-Bike) Retail Associate to join our CyclErie team. As an E-Bike Retail Associate, you will play a critical role in promoting and selling our range of electric bikes. Your expertise in electric bikes and passion for sustainable transportation will help customers make informed purchase decisions. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a genuine interest in helping customers embrace the benefits of electric bikes.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.

2. Educate customers about the features, benefits, and differences of various electric bike models to help them find the best fit for their needs.

3. Offer guidance on electric bike accessories, such as helmets, locks, lights, and other relevant products.

4. Conduct test rides and provide demonstrations of electric bikes to showcase their performance and functionality.

5. Assist customers in selecting appropriate bike sizes and ensure proper fitting.

6. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, electric bike technologies, and local regulations governing electric bikes.

7. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling, credit card transactions, and any necessary paperwork.

8. Manage inventory, restock merchandise, and ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.

9. Collaborate with the service department to coordinate repairs, warranty claims, and maintenance services for customers' electric bikes.

10. Stay informed about competitor products, prices, and promotions to provide insights and recommendations to customers.

11. Contribute to the achievement of sales goals and targets through proactive selling techniques and suggestive selling.

12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while handling customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints.

13. Continuously seek opportunities to improve knowledge and skills through training programs, workshops, and self-study.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the bicycle or electric bike industry, is highly desirable.

2. Strong knowledge of electric bikes, including their components, features, and performance metrics.

3. Passion for sustainable transportation and a genuine interest in promoting electric bikes as an eco-friendly alternative.

4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to engage and connect with customers.

5. Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on providing outstanding service and building long-term relationships.

6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

7. Basic mathematical skills for processing sales transactions and inventory management.

8. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software is a plus.

9. Physical stamina to lift and move bikes, perform test rides, and assist customers with bike fittings.

10. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings as per the store's schedule.

11. Flexible in one's viewpoints and positions to support the direction taken by others at Cyclerie.

12. Successful in working as part of a diverse and inclusive team. Builds rapport with all kinds of people within and outside the organization.

13. Experience with ski and snow equipment a plus.
