We first remove cassette and then the freehub body to degrease all parts of the freehub. We inspect all pawls, pawl springs, teeth, dust seals, and bearings in both freehub and hub shell to guarantee their integrity and regrease freehub with Dumonde grease or lube depending on freehub. Then put everything back together and check freehub response while pedaling.
