Should you convert to tubeless tires? Probably so, here’s why…

In general, it is a good idea to convert your bike to tubeless tires if you want to enjoy a smoother, more puncture-resistant ride. Tubeless tires are lighter than traditional tires and the ability to run a lower tire pressure will also help improve your overall performance. Additional benefits include resisting thorns, nails, and other sharp objects that could result in a flat tire. The downside is that they require more effort to install, maintenance of refilling sealant and can be more expensive than comparable wire bead tires. Ultimately, though, the decision to convert is up to you. Considering the potential benefits, however, it may be worth the extra cost and effort.
