CyclErie Doubles Retail Space to Meet Growing Demand for eBikes in Northern Colorado
Erie, CO – January 16, 2026 – CyclErie, Erie’s first and only dedicated bike shop, today announced the completion of a major expansion at its flagship location at 515 Briggs Street. The renovation has effectively doubled the retail floor space, allowing for expanded inventory, improved display areas, and a more comfortable shopping experience for customers.
The larger showroom now features a broader selection of premium eBikes from leading brands including Aventon, Specialized, Woom and Bulls alongside exciting acoustic bikes and children’s models. Additional space has been dedicated to accessories, parts, and service intake, making it easier for riders to find everything they need in one visit.
“Since opening in 2022, we’ve seen steady growth as more people discover the freedom and fun of eBikes,” said Dan Johnson, co-owner of CyclErie. “This expansion lets us keep more models in stock and gives customers room to compare options side-by-side before heading out for a real test ride on the trails right outside our door.”
Located steps from Coal Creek Park, CyclErie remains the only shop in the Front Range where customers can ride directly onto the Coal Creek Trail—paved and crushed gravel paths starting less than 100 yards away—or reach Erie Singletrack in about 10 minutes for mountain and eMTB testing.
The expansion reflects CyclErie’s continued commitment to its roots: helping kids and families get outside and ride together.
The newly expanded store is open 6 days a week. Visitors are invited to stop by for a test ride on local trails.
