CyclErie Doubles Store Size to Bring More eBikes and Real-Trail Test Rides to Erie

Erie, CO (January 16, 2026) — CyclErie, Erie’s first bike shop, has completed a major expansion at 515 Briggs Street, effectively doubling its retail floor space. The larger showroom now offers an expanded selection of premium eBikes from Aventon, Specialized Turbo, Bulls, Gazelle, Benno, and Salsa, plus more room for accessories, parts, and service.

The shop’s unbeatable location—steps from Coal Creek Park—remains the highlight: customers can ride straight out the door onto the Coal Creek Trail (paved and crushed gravel paths starting less than 100 yards away) or reach Erie Singletrack in about 10 minutes for authentic mountain and eMTB demos.

“Demand for eBikes keeps growing, and this extra space lets us stock more models so riders can compare and test them on the actual trails they’ll use,” said co-owner Dan Johnson.

The expansion supports CyclErie’s ongoing mission to get kids and families outside together, with seasonal youth programs continuing through non-profit CyclErie Devo.

Stop by the newly expanded shop for a real-trail test ride—no private loop needed when Colorado’s best paths start at the doorstep.
