The Family Bike Ride begins at CyclErie bike shop, nestled in the charming Historic Old Town Erie. Just steps away lies Coal Creek Park, a gem featuring a playground, picnic areas, and a refreshing splash pad—perfect for a pre-ride warm-up or post-ride cool-down. Grab a coffee at Fox Dog Coffee, also in Old Town, to fuel up before we hit the trail.

Our ride follows the Coal Creek Trail, a picturesque path winding through Erie, Colorado. This 3-mile round-trip route is ideal for families, with a gentle pace suitable for everyone—whether you’re on striders, bike trailers, or e-bikes. We’ll roll down to Lehigh Park, another stunning spot boasting a playground, picnic areas, and sports fields. After soaking in the scenery, we’ll head back to Historic Old Town Erie, where CyclErie and Fox Dog Coffee await.
