Hydraulic Brake Bleed for Bikes and E-Bikes

If your brake lever feels spongy, pulls closer to the bar than it used to, or your stopping power has faded, there's likely air or old fluid in your hydraulic lines. A full brake bleed flushes that out and brings back a firm, consistent lever.

This service is a full bleed of Shimano and SRAM style hydraulic disc brakes, done by our techs at CyclErie in Erie and Longmont, Colorado.

Signs you need a brake bleed

• Spongy or soft lever feel
• Lever pulls all the way to the handlebar
• Braking power that fades on long descents
• Inconsistent feel between front and rear brakes
• It has been a long time since your last bleed

Why it matters on an e-bike
