Genuine Shimano stainless steel (SUS) road brake inner cable. Built for reliable, consistent braking performance on road bikes with mechanical rim or cable-actuated disc brakes.
Key Features
- Stainless steel construction – Excellent corrosion resistance for longer service life in wet or salty conditions compared to standard galvanized cables
- 1.6 mm diameter – Standard road brake cable thickness for proper fit and power transfer
- 2050 mm length – Sufficient for front or rear brake on most road, gravel, and cyclocross bikes (cut to length as needed)
- Road-specific pear-shaped nipple – Correct end for Shimano STI, SRAM, and most other road brake levers
- Precision-ground for smooth, low-friction operation
Compatibility
Designed for Shimano road brake systems (and compatible road levers). Works with standard road brake housing. Not intended for mountain bike levers that use a different cable head shape.
