Sales tax is collected on the total price of the eBike. Next discounts and rebates are applied.
For example - if a bike costs $1,999 - we apply 7.4% sales tax which brings the total to = $2,146.94
From there we are able to apply discounts and rebates. For all Colorado Residents we subtract $225 - which would bring the total cost of this electric bicycle to: $1,921.94
From Camps to Trails
Jenny and Dan Johnson started CyclErie in 2020 with cycling programs for kids, including Bike Adventure Camp, Learn to Pedal, and Kids Mountain Bike Camp. For three years we ran the camps and sold children’s bikes from our garage. In 2022 we opened Erie’s first bike shop, shifting toward retail sales, repairs, and service while keeping the camps going seasonally through our 501(c)(3) non-profit, CyclErie Devo.
CyclErie has come a long way since those early days at camp. We're now one of the leading bike shops in the Colorado Front Range. Our original focus—getting kids and families outside on bikes—still guides what we do.

Our shop sits at 515 Briggs Street, right next to Coal Creek Park. Step out the door and you’re less than 100 yards from the start of the Coal Creek Trail—smooth paved and crushed gravel paths ideal for trying commuter, cargo, or adventure eBikes. Erie Singletrack is just a 10-minute ride away for testing mountain and eMTB models. Most shops have a parking-lot loop; we have actual Colorado trails.
